Create personal information
pages with your GPS data!
It is possible to link text, images and Internet addresses
to GPS data. Linked information is automatically displayed
when the element is selected. Here is how to create and consult
an information page:
Create a page
1. Click on the selection tool .
2. Select (click on) a GPS element i.e. a waypoint, a route
or a track. The color of the selected element changes.
3. Click on the Information button .
This will open the Information window.
4. In the Information window, click on the
HTML tab.
5. Fill in the desired fields of the page; you can also add
an image. At any time, you can click on the Preview…
button to get a preview of the result.
6. Once the desired information is added, click OK
to accept.
Consult a page
1. Click on the selection tool .
2. Select (click on) a GPS element containing an information
page.
3. The information page opens automatically.
Notes:
- Click on the link (Ontario parks) to open the associated
Web page (http://www.ontarioparks.com)
- The image (partridge) in the page may have been reduced;
click on the picture to display the entire image.
