Use SoftMap Pro 5 to create GeoTIFF

You can use the SoftMap Pro 5 + free GeoWrites module combo to create GeoTIFF maps. A GeoTIFF is a raster (image) map containing information on its position. GeoTIFF is a widespread format compatible with several GIS software. To create a GeoTIFF, proceed as follows:

1. Create a BMP map using the File – Print to file option.
2. Launch the GeoWrites module to georeference the file generated at step 1.

Note : GeoWrites user guide is available in the SoftMap Pro 5 program group of the Windows Start menu.
